Ms Sturgeon said that no immediate changes to the levels across Scotland will be proposed today but she did say that the Government are closely monitoring certain areas including Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire.

The First Minister said it is likely that next week will be a more substantial announcement as we draw closer to December 11 which is the date proposed for all areas in tier four to be re-evaluated.
