First Minister Nicola Sturgeon: 70 new deaths in Scotland as toll reaches 1,332
A further 70 people have died in Scotland after testing positive for Covid-19, bringing the total in Scotland to 1,332.
At her daily press briefing, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon confirmed that 10,721 people had now tested positive for the virus - an increase of 200.

Hide AdShe said 1,754 of those were receiving treatment in hospital, and that 126 were in in intensive care.
Speaking at the press conference, Ms Sturgeon said that the hospitalisation and ICU figures – both of which fell by eight in the last 24 hours – was “a cause for cautious optimism”.
She said she was pleased to announce that 2,448 people who had been hospitalised since the start of the outbreak, had been discharged.
Earlier the First Minister participated in a minute’s silence in memory of all NHS workers who had died while caring for Covid-19 patients.
