First Minister Nicola Sturgeon is due to make an announcement in parliament today at 12.20pm

Nicola Sturgeon is due to give an announcement to Parliament on the morning of Thursday, July 30 and will host a briefing in the afternoon where she will outline the next steps Scotland will take easing out of lockdown  

Ms Sturgeon said she is refraining from naming countries that will be put on the ‘quarantine list’ until she has made official decisions this afternoon

Ms Sturgeon said she hopes to give more details on dates on Thursday, July 30 for when other businesses can reopen and lockdown restrictions can be lifted earlier
