Lockdown restrictions have recently been tightened across the country in an effort to stem the rise and prevent further deaths, with Ms Sturgeon urging people to stick to the new regulations. Latest figures from Public Health Scotland (PHS) show that 740 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the past 24 hours (as of 4 October), and no new deaths have been recorded. Hospital admission have increased by five to 210 in 24 hours, with two more patients admitted to intensive care.
