Coronavirus in Scotland: 68 deaths as country records more than 2,000 new cases

A total of 68 coronavirus deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours as the country confirms 2,039 have tested positive since yesterday.

To date, 95 people are being treated in intensive care with recently confirmed Covid-19 and 1,384 people are in hospital having tested positive for the virus.

Since the start of the outbreak a total of 1,414,764 people in Scotland have been tested at least once.

Of these people, 141,066 have tested positive and 1,273,698 were confirmed negative.
