Coronavirus in Scotland: 56 new cases confirmed bringing total to 322

A futher 56 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Scotland bringing the total number to 322.

The latest figures cover the new cases confirmed in the last 24 hours according to the Scottish Government.

Greater Glasgow and Clyde is currently the most affected region in Scotland with 91 confirmed cases – Lanarkshire is the second worst hit region of the country with 41 positive cases.

So far six patients who have tested positive for the virus have died.
