Coronavirus in Scotland: 1,341 new cases of Covid-19 confirmed
To date, 147 people are in intensive care with recently confirmed Covid-19 and 1,918 people are in hospital having tested positive for the virus.
The news comes as the Scottish Government reported 224,840 people have received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine and 3,331 have received their second dose as of 17 January.

Hide AdSince the start of the outbreak, a total of 1,492,656 people in Scotland have been tested at least once.
Of these people: 162,333 have tested positive and 1,330,323 were confirmed negative.
No new deaths have been recorded in today’s update, however, this is likely down to there being no registry offices open on a Sunday.
