Watch as Glasgow shoppers and retailers react as the city is placed in Level 4 of Scotland’s regional lockdown system.
The Scotsman caught up with the people of Glasgow after First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, announced more than two million people are to be placed under Scotland's toughest Covid-19 lockdown restrictions for three weeks.
Residents shared their hopes and concerns as Scotland’s largest city re-enters lockdown.
Announcing the rules change earlier this week, Ms Sturgeon said: “In the seven days up to Friday, Scotland as a whole had just over 140 new cases of covid per 100,000 people.
“All of the areas moving to level 4 were above that level - ranging from West Lothian, with a rate of 158 cases per 100,000, to Glasgow with 277.
The council areas that have moved to Level 4 are: the City of Glasgow, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, East Ayrshire, South Ayrshire, Stirling and West Lothian.
