Coronavirus in Scotland: 281 new cases reported as death toll rises

Coronavirus is continuing to take lives in Scotland, as new deaths were reported today.

The figures show that the death toll is continuing to rise.

There were 281 new cases of covid-19 reported, according to figures released by the Scottish Government

There were four new reported deaths of people who have tested positive for coronavirus recently.

The figures showed that there were 22,183 new tests for covid-19 that reported results – 1.5% of these were positive.

2,643,524 people have now received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 551,699 have received their second dose.
