Coronavirus in Scotland: 191 new cases recorded in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 191 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in Scotland.

In total 18,500 tests were carried out, and 1.1 per cent of those that reported results were positive.

The death toll in Scotland remains at 7,659 as no new deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.

Nine people were in intensive care yesterday with recently confirmed Covid-19, while 67 people were in hospital having tested positive for the virus.

As of 7.30am today, 2,802,152 people had received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccination and 1,224,861 had received their second dose.
