Coronavirus in Scotland: 146 new cases recorded in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours Scotland has recorded 146 new coronavirus cases but no new deaths.

The latest government data shows that 18,500 tests were carried out and of those which reported results, 208 of them were positive, 1.1 per cent.

The death toll since the start of the pandemic in Scotland remains at 7,659 as no new deaths were recorded.

67 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed Covd-19; of these, nine were in intensive care.

As at 7:30am today, 2,817,752 people had received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccination and 1,297,664 had received their second dose.
