Coronavirus in Scotland: 13 new deaths as more than 1,000 test positive for Covid-19 in 24 hours
Of these new cases, 450 are in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, 374 are in Lanarkshire, 161 are in the Lothians and 111 are in Ayrshire and Arran.
The remainder of the cases have been confirmed at the eight other health boards across the country.

Hide AdDuring her daily briefing, Nicola Sturgeon confirmed 31 more people are being treated in hospital with Covid-19 compared to yesterday bringing the total number to 601 as of October 15.
Since last week, the number of patients in intensive care with the virus has doubled and has now reached 51.
The recently recorded deaths brings the total number of fatalities in Scotland to 2, 585.
So far, 44, 036 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the country since the pandemic hit in March.
