The data released by the Scottish Government breaks down the number of positive covid-19 cases per 100,000 people, according to neighbourhood.
The following list highlights the 12 areas in Scotland with the lowest number of coronavirus cases per 100,000 population over the course of seven days.
This data is from October 18 to October 24 2020.
Not included in this list, South Lanarkshire is the worst hit area with 375.3 cases per 100,000 people.

1. Orkney
Orkney recorded one new coronavirus cases in the last week and remains the region in Scotland with the lowest number of recorded cases. This is 4.5 cases per 100,000 population. Photo: Supplied
