This data is from January 2 to January 8, 2021.
Inverclyde has become the worst hit area with 467.9 cases per 100,000 population, while at the bottom of the scale, and not included on this list, sits the Orkney Islands which recorded just six new cases with a rate of 26.9 per 100,000.
