Coronavirus in Scotland RECAP: Nicola Sturgeon urges Scots to still stay home and two metre rule remains
Nicola Sturgeon has warned that lockdown could be reimposed if people don’t stick to the guidelines.
This comes after the weekend saw 797 dispersal orders made by the police as people flocked to Scotland beauty spots, leading the First Minister to say that certain guidelines could be written into law to ensure they’re adhered to.

Hide AdMs Sturgeon said: “It's worth being clear, in fact I have a duty to be clear with you, that if there is continued evidence of even a minority not abiding by these guidelines and travelling unnecessarily, if people meet up in larger groups or if they're making journeys which risk spreading this virus, we will have to put these restrictions on group size and travel distance into law.”
