Coronavirus in Scotland: 58 additional deaths recorded in the last 24 hours as 822 more cases are confirmed
Of the new cases reported today, 277 were in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde health board, 159 were in Lanarkshire and 93 were reported in Forth Valley.
The rest were reported across ten other health board areas.
1,618 people are currently in hospital with the virus which is a decrease of 54 from the figure reported yesterday.

As of 8.30am today, 928,122 people had received their first dose of the vaccine in Scotland.
The 58 additional deaths recorded in the last 24 hours brings the death toll in Scotland, under this daily measurement, to 6,501.
The additional 822 positive cases in the last 24 hours brings the total number of people who have tested positive for the virus since the start of the pandemic to 187,542.
