Comedian Carson has cancer surgery

Comedian Frank Carson has had an operation for stomach cancer.

He is “fine” and is waiting for the all-clear, a spokesman for the star said. The Belfast-born 84-year-old is famous for his “it’s the way I tell ’em” catchphrase. He cancelled dates around the country after he was diagnosed earlier this year.
