Business as usual at power-cut hospital

AN ELECTRICAL fault which caused operations at the Outer Hebrides' main hospital to be cancelled was fixed yesterday.

The Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway was hit by a power cut on Friday, which was discovered during routine testing of a generator.

A spokeswoman for the hospital said yesterday the problem had been resolved.
