Whale of a time awaits at workshop

YOUNG people are being invited to take part in an animated film-making workshop during the Easter holidays.

The WHALE Arts Agency in Wester Hailes is hosting the four-day workshop delivered by the Puppet Animation Festival Scotland.

Leading French animator Eric Vanz De Godoy will work with up to 15 young people, aged between ten and 18, to make a short animated film.

The participants will learn stop-frame animation techniques and then use their own imagination and ideas to make the film.

Places are free, but limited, so participants will have to book a place by contacting WHALE. The course runs from 6-9 April.
