Students take gold for their green efforts

STUDENTS at Edinburgh University have been rewarded for their green and ethical credentials.

The Edinburgh University Students' Association (Eusa) was named the overall winner at the National Union of Students Sound Impact Awards, an ethical and environmental accreditation scheme for students' unions.

James Wallace, Eusa vice-president of services, said: "Eusa has been working hard over the last year to improve its environmental record and to reduce its impact on the environment so I'm delighted that this work has been recognised."
