Speed cameras hit the roads

MOBILE speed cameras will be in operation on a number of roads in West Lothian this week.

From today, cameras will be located at A706 Longridge, A706 Cairnie Place in Whitburn, A89 Armadale, A899 Deer Park, A899 Lizzie Bryce, A71 Breich and A71 Polbeth.

Meanwhile, a 350-metre section of the B8084 Tippethill Road, north of Tippethill House in Armadale, will be closed until 5 April.

An alternative route is available via the A706, A801 and A89 East Main Street to South Street.
