Revision website hots up due to cold weather

PUPILS concerned about letting their revision slip during the recent school closures have been boosted by an online study programme created by Heriot-Watt University.

The Scholar programme saw 25 per cent more pupils in the Lothians logging on to revise than this time last year, which bosses say is a direct result of schools being closed due to the bad weather.

If the bad weather continues, online studying will become increasingly vital to those facing examinations.

"Scholar is already a well-established resource, available to all fifth and sixth-year pupils in Scotland, and we typically receive around 750,000 hits a month."
