More repairs needed at closure-hit city high schools
Surveys undertaken by Edinburgh Schools Partnership have revealed that further “remedial work” will be required at Drummond and Royal High, which were originally due to reopen fully on June 20.
Pupils at both have been taught at their own campuses since mid-April.

Hide AdThey were among 17 public-private partnership (PPP) schools hit by closures amid safety fears.
Works will continue and are expected to be complete in time for youngsters to return for the new term on August 17.
Meanwhile, contingency arrangements have been improved for Gracemount pupils, who will now all be on one site at Liberton High for the start of the timetable on Monday.
And Craigmount pupils based at the Darroch annexe will join counterparts at the Forrester/St Augustine’s joint campus.
