Inspectors give college pass marks

INSPECTORS have highlighted key strengths of leadership, engagement with students and high quality of learning and teaching following a review of Stevenson College.

The HMIE report commends the college's performance against its educational aims, objectives and targets and praised its improvements in retention for all learners and attainment rates for students on higher education programmes over the last three years.

Brian Lister, principal of Stevenson College, said: "We will continue to work strenuously to improve attainment rates in all our provision."
