Abertay University cyber-security conference held today

SECURI-TAY, Scotland’s largest cyber-security conference which is organised by students on Abertay University’s Ethical Hacking course, is being held today in Dundee.

The third Securi-Tay conference will bring together over 100 delegates from education, industry and law enforcement.

The event’s programme includes discussions on protecting IT infrastructure, talks from leading cyber-security experts, and analysis of mobile phone app security.

A university spokesman said: “It is unique in the UK as the only student-led conference of its type, run by the Abertay Ethical Hacking Society.

He added: “An important element of the conference is the platform it gives Abertay students to present their work to a large audience.”
