ReNeuron hails stroke treatment

LIFE sciences firm ReNeuron yesterday unveiled research that claimed its stem cell treatment for strokes – which is being tested in a clinical trial at Glasgow’s Southern General Hospital – could be successfully manufactured on a large scale.

The study was conducted with the support of a grant from the UK government’s Technology Strategy Board and forms part of a larger collaboration between Surrey-based ReNeuron and researchers at University College London and Nottingham Trent University.
