Festival deal feeds Appetite
Appetite Direct, which is based in the Scottish capital, has grown by a fifth in the last 12 months and the five-figure contract will help secure the future of its ten full-time and 30 part-time staff while creating two further full-time posts.
This year’s EIF began on Friday, with several of the events having a conflict theme to mark the centenary of Britain entering the First World War.

Hide AdNigel Kennedy, owner of Appetite Direct, which was launched 11 years ago, said the sponsorship deal “shows a real confidence in our company while reinforcing our commitment to the arts in Edinburgh”.
He added: “It also puts our name in front of some of the key businesses in the city and takes us a step closer to our target of doubling turnover to around £1.4 million within the next five years.”
