Cross joins the Innis & Gunn sales team

INNIS & Gunn, the fast-growing beer company, yesterday named Lucy Cross as its marketing manager as the firm pushes ahead with its expansion plans.

Cross joins the Edinburgh-based maker of oak-aged beers from Bacardi Martini, where she was the global brand manager for Dewar’s Scotch whiskies. As well as its eponymous blends, Dewar’s single malts include Aberfeldy, Craigallachie and Royal Brackla, from Cawdor, near Nairn.

Cross also launched one of Bacardi’s “ready-to-drink” rums, which feature the spirit ready-mixed with other flavours.

Dougal Sharp, managing director at Innis & Gunn, said: “We’re a young business with big growth ambitions and Lucy ticked all the right boxes in what we were looking for in a marketing manager. She is perfectly suited for the job and we are looking forward to what the future holds.”

The firm is more than doubling its headcount to 25 to expand its sales at home and abroad.
