Butcher cooks up meaty deal with Asda
The product is to be sold in 50 stores across Scotland, with the butcher to take on ten staff to help meet the demand.
Malcolm Allan aims to sell 120,000 units of its range, in addition to its annual sales of more than 21 million slices of lorne sausage. That is equivalent to 38 times the journey between Glasgow and Falkirk if the sausages were laid out end to end.
