Bells rings in the new year with Asda pie celebration

Bells Food Group is set to end the year on a high with a deal to stock a limited edition Hogmanay steak pie in Asda stores across Scotland.

The Shotts-based firm, which has been working with the US-owned supermarket giant for many years, said the 1.1kg pie would be available in all 62 stores north of the Border for a limited time only.

The company expects to see sales soar by some 50 per cent over the festive period, with an additional 20,000 pies being produced.
