Your Piece signs US Whole Foods deal

A FIFE bakery has signed a distribution contract in the United States that will see its oatcakes and shortbread reach consumers along the eastern seaboard.

Letham-based Your Piece Baking Company sealed the deal with Whole Foods Market in conjunction with its US importer, British Aisles.

Whole Foods Market has a chain of 270 stores and specialises in organic foods.

Bakery director Daniel Connolly said he was "very excited" by the contract, which will begin early this year.
