Young entrepreneurs with a Hyde Out

After setting up businesses while at Heriot-Watt university, two young graduates, Rory McWhirter, 22, and Rowan Milne, 23, plan to make an impact on Edinburgh's hospitality sector with the opening tonight of Hyde Out in the Fountainbridge district.

The pair have raised capital mainly from friends and family for the venue which promises a host of stylish quirks under the direction of Scottish style bar design experts KBAD.

McWhirter said: "We know we are biting off a lot but we have a real opportunity to do something special here." He is predicting a 600,000 turnover in the first year.
