Advertising giant WPP has reported worldwide revenue growth of 6.2 per cent for the first four months of the year.

The group's AGM heard that operations in the US continued to "show remarkably strong growth", while in the UK underlying revenues were 7 per cent higher despite economic pressures. WPP has also acquired 70 per cent of F.biz, the largest independent digital advertising agency in Brazil.
