Wood Group wins ‘multi-million’ Total contract

Oil and gas services giant Wood Group has won a five-year “multi-million” dollar contract with France’s Total.

Under the deal, Wood’s PSN division will deliver engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning services to four offshore assets and two onshore facilities in the UK continental shelf.

The contract continues PSN’s 12-year history of providing services to the Alywn, Dunbar, Elgin and Franklin platforms, as well as the St Fergus Gas Terminal. It also covers support for the Shetland Gas Plant, the onshore receiving facility for Laggan Tormore, which is due to start production later this year.
