Wood Group chief's wife sells on £3.8 million in shares

THE wife of Allister Langlands, chief executive of Wood Group, yesterday sold more than £3.8 million worth of shares in the Aberdeen-based oil services company.

Helen Langlands sold 600,000 shares at an average price of 648.5p each but still retains a stake of 879,845 shares.

Her husband's holding stands at 506,675 shares.

Caroline Nish, wife of Standard Life chief executive David, bought nearly 100,000 worth of shares in the Edinburgh financial group to take the couple's combined stake to 620,000 shares.
