Walker Greenbank sales jump 14%

UPMARKET wallpaper maker Walker Greenbank enjoyed a Far East boost last year to help sales jump 14 per cent, which also included the group establishing a toehold in China.

The maker of Harlequin, Sanderson and Zoffany papers saw profits leap 188 per cent to 4.46 million on sales of 68.8m. Walker said a retro range to celebrate its 150th anniversary also proved a hit in the UK. The total dividend lifts 90 per cent to 0.95p.
