Wagamama to open Edinburgh restaurant

Noodle bar chain Wagamama is gearing up to open its fourth restaurant in Scotland and its first in Edinburgh, it emerged yesterday.

The firm said it had signed a 15-year lease to move into the site of the former Bank of Scotland branch on 1 Castle Terrace, just off Lothian Road. Wagamama already has outlets in Aberdeen, Glasgow and Livingston. Simon Bashford at Jones Lang LaSalle, which acted for the outgoing tenant, said: "The letting is a further sign of positive sentiment in Edinburgh's leisure and retail market."
