Virgin Atlantic’s male cabin crew could wear kilts

MALE cabin crew on Virgin Atlantic’s new Anglo-Scottish service could be kitted out in kilts after they were modelled at Monday’s launch of the new Little Red flights.

The red Harris Tweed garments were a popular source of questions at a media briefing in Edinburgh.

Afterwards Virgin boss Sir Richard Branson said in a tweet: “Sounds like kilts on HelloLittleRed Scottish flights would be popular. What should the guys wear under their kilts?”

The kilt, worn by Virgin cabin crew member Joe Byrne, pictured with colleague Pamela McCormick, was also sported by Branson who admitted he had got some help putting it on correctly.
