General Motors said it will invest $150 million to reactivate a plant in Indonesia to build a "people mover" van for South-east Asia.

The biggest US carmaker said the Bekasi plant in West Java will begin production of the vans in 2013 and build 40,000 a year, ultimately creating 800 jobs. GM did not disclose further details about the vehicle, such as its name, design specifications or pricing.
