Uniform firm set for world sales

A STAFF uniform specialist based in the Capital is preparing an international sales drive.

NKD Clothing, which already has contracts with firms including Malmaison and Hotel du Vin, is in the process of contacting business ambassadors around the world in a bid to drive sales growth.

It has already gone through a period of significant growth and is now a 1.3 million-a-year business.

The firm is working with the Scottish business leader networking group Globalscots in a bid to reach new customers.

Managing director Gill Eastgate said: "It is a very exciting time and we've already had messages back from Globalscot ambassadors in Dubai, Australia and the Cayman Islands who are keen to help us promote our services. We are particularly strong in the hotel, leisure and tourism sector."
