TSG buys rival IT firm Concentrix

Technology Services Group, the Newcastle-based IT business, has swooped on Loughborough-based rival Concentrix in a "multi-million-pound" deal.

All 61 staff from Concentrix - which has clients including Royal Mail, Thomas Cook and Eon UK - will join TSG, which now has more than 500 workers, including 100 at its three offices in Scotland.

Tom O'Hara, managing director of TSG in Scotland, said: "The acquisition will accelerate our progress with cloud computing and share-point technology, areas in which TSG and Concentrix have made significant investment."
