Triodos gets green light for turbine

TRIODOS Renewables, the alternative energy arm of the Dutch bank, has been granted planning permission to erect a second wind turbine near Fraserburgh.

The 900 kilowatt turbine, which could supply enough power for 500 homes at peak output, will be built near Strichen. The firm is raising 15 million through a share issue, which it said has boosted its number of investors to 4,000.
