Towry wins injunction against advisers

WEALTH manager Towry Law has won an interim injunction against six former Edward Jones advisers.

Edward Jones, an IFA, was bought by Towry Law last November and its advisers signed contracts stating that should they leave the firm they would not entice clients from Towry Law, according to Towry.

Towry accused six advisers of using confidential information to solicit clients, and the High Court in London has granted an injunction ahead of a trial in July. Towry said it is preparing similar actions against other former Edward Jones advisers.
