Third rescue vessel delivers Atlantic service
The Aberdeen-based firm’s emergency response and rescue vessel, christened Ocean Falcon, can accommodate a crew of 21 and is capable of rescuing up to 300 people.
It has already picked up a contract with a North Sea operator.

Hide AdIts sister ships, Ocean Tay and Ocean Osprey, were launched in February and May of last year.
Atlantic Offshore Rescue, which has 350 staff, now has a fleet of 11 vessels, managed from its new 12,000sq ft base at Waterloo Quay in Aberdeen.
The company’s managing director, Matthew Gordon, said: “Having outgrown our previous office we now have the capacity to accommodate future growth in the coming months and years. Being so close to Aberdeen harbour, we are also in a position to increase operational efficiency and better serve clients.”
