Survey boost for RunRev's LiveCode

RUNREV, the Edinburgh-based software firm in which Apple founder Mike Markkula holds a stake, will open its annual developers' conference in California today with new research showing programmers are saving 51 days on average by using its LiveCode software.

One-third of the 670 developers surveyed said they could not have completed their projects without LiveCode, which allows apps to be written for the iPhone and Android phones simultaneously.
