Supercar dealer HR Owen hails ‘robust’ trading

HR Owen, the supercar dealer that recently agreed to a £43 million takeover offer from the billionaire owner of Cardiff City football club, today said its annual results are on track to beat its expectations.

The firm, which sells marques such as Bentley, Lamborghini, Maserati and Pagani, said: “The strong trading performance seen in the first half was followed by a robust second half performance and this was further complemented by a particularly good close to the year.

“Our used car trading performance continues to be very strong with volumes up by almost a third on the prior year.”
