A BUSY summer at Britain’s airports helped foreign currency giant Travelex report higher sales and earnings for the three months to August yesterday.

The group, which has 1,000 foreign exchange bureaux and 500 cash machines globally, said sales were up 6 per cent while underlying earnings rose 2 per cent, boosted by strong performances in the UK, Europe and US. The summer update came as the firm posted a 17 per cent rise in half-year profits.
