Stuart MacGregor to join Stewart Milne board
HOUSEBUILDER Stewart Milne Group has named former drinks industry executive Stuart MacGregor as its new group finance director as it embarks on a significant expansion.
MacGregor is currently completing a senior project finance role with distiller William Grant & Sons following a 15-year career with brewing giant Heineken, where his most recent role had been as global business control director based in Amsterdam. He will join the Aberdeen-based builder in April.
Earlier this week Stewart Milne unveiled plans to create more than 250 jobs in the next 12 months in its homes and timber systems divisions, an increase of more than 30 per cent on its current 800-strong full-time workforce.
