Step It Up Dance steps out to Central Belt

The growth comes after Edinburgh-based Step It Up Dance, founded three years ago by Niki Hutchison, saw its turnover quadruple to £100,000 in 2014. The firm has 40 dance teachers and runs more than 100 classes a week across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
Hutchison said she now plans to bring the concept to Dunfermline, Perth and Glasgow, adding: “I am absolutely delighted with how quickly the business has grown over the last year, which is why we are in a position to expand the business sooner. The classes and parties also teach kids how to express themselves in different ways, which ultimately helps build their confidence.”
