Specsavers agree STV sponsorship deal

SPECSAVERS, the retail chain of opticians, has secured a six-figure deal to sponsor television weather reports in the STV region.

The campaign launches tomorrow and will provide audiences with three daily helpings of a quirky Specsavers animation until the end of the year.

It has already sponsored Channel 4 series How To Look Good Naked and The TV Book Club but this latest deal is the first regional sponsorship.
